And is it one word or two?

I was on the phone with my sister as I typed an e-mail this afternoon.

"Straitjacket," I asked her. "S-t-r-a-i-g-h-t or s-t-r-a-i-t?"

"S-t-r-a-i-t," she answered.

She never even asked why I needed to know.
