Victor called this afternoon to report "I just saw an Elvis impersonator on Eye Street."
Our dishwasher was recalled. This may explain that nasty burning smell we've been getting when we do dishes.

I got my CPR recertification, so feel free to have a cardiac arrest in my presence. I did have some trouble with the rescue breathing practical, but it turned out my mannequin was missing a critical part of the dummy lungs. "It was a congenital defect; there was nothing we could do," I said sadly when my partner pronounced the mannequin dead.
